well im trying to get the most aggressive sound out of my camaro and id rather do it getting a muffler instead of chopping it off haha but ive heard the flowmaster 80 series mufflers are extremely aggressive sounding would u guys agree or do u have other mufflers in mind?

 

flowmaster website has sound clips or you can look it up on you tube. theres hundreds of exhaust clips. or, just go outside and stand there for a few minutes and youll hear one. everything from smart cars to dulleys are running flow crappers.

flowmaster is not an aggressive sound especially going on a 305 car . . . Magnaflow, Borla, SLP loud mouth is a good beat i personally have ran magnaflow on my 4thgen and 3rdgen cars and have always been happy with the quality of their products, sound and prices

 

yes i want to keep my dual outs...i have a flowmaster on there right now but nothing special sounds better than stock obviously but i just want something a lot louder and aggressive and dont wanna pay over $120 for a muffler otherwise i would just chop it off and say screw it and save up for a full cat back i am interested in loud mouths but not sure how the prices match up

 

Oky I ave an 80 series crossflow in my 1994 it is extremely agressive ( though I do not have a catalytic converter much to the chagrin to my neighbors) my advice is to check with the guys at Hawks third gen, they sell a system they custom desighned for third gen bodies, they had a writeup in camaro magazine about 8 months or so back. good system, it opens up your breathing SIGNIFICANTLY, it eliminates all the bends and odd shapes that restrict flow from your system while giving you a more agressive sound and better overall performance. they can install it for you or ship it to you to be installed by the muffler shop of your choice. if Money is a little tight as far as your budget, I suggest if you have been informed about emissions regs and are sure you don't have to worry about passing any inspections, just have the cat cut out and a section of pipe welded in it's place, that should be good for about 20 more db.
