Removing exhaust manifold to y-pipe studs
What's the preferred method. I tried the 2 nut technique, but the top nut just spins and wont tighten against the bottom nut (threads are pretty bad).
Why do they make the bottom of the stud round? Seems like a good idea to make flat edges so you could get a grip. Thanks

I soaked mine in PB Blaster, the next day they turned out with a smaller visegrip. Trust me that PB Blaster stuff is amazing, you can see it soak into the threads and surronding metal.
