Hi, i'd like to put a LM1 catback on my car, but as we all know know, they dont make them for thirdgens. Does anyone know If their easily adaptable to our cars, and how you would go about doing this?

Yes the exhaust will fit but you will have to do some mods to the hangers. Keep in mind that a slp exhaust on your engine will sound alot different than on a ls1 motor. I don't know if you are buying it because of that or not. The ls1 sounds so exotic with this exhaust. You can listen to it on youtube. I would keep the cat on also there will be a lot of drone going down the highway. Also tsp rumbler makes one that's about half the price of the slp, but it's not stainless steel.

 

i used a flowmaster i pipe broke it off at the area were it goes around the axle ( as thats were it does separate from the factory) and installed the back half of the lm1 exhaust system there it works perfectly with no other mods i also use a 4th gen hanger were the tail pipe hangs from as the 4th gen ones are more ridged i don't have a resonator on it either just a cat
