Do I NEED Cats??

I am putting a twin turbo kit on my car. Do I need to have cats? I remember hearing from someone that I won't need to have them on there cause the turbos clean it enough. Does anyone know?

Re: Do I NEED Cats??

Turbos will quiet it, usually enough to not really need mufflers. But they do zero for cleaning the emissions of the exhaust & it not needing the cat.

^ what he said
you have to have them if the car is used on the street, no way around it.
