NEED HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!
NEED HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!
Newbie needs help! OK... Just got 1991 305 tpi motor. Have purchased stand alone wiring harness, new ecm w/PROM anti-theft removed, all trouble codes that are not used with stand alone ecm removed, new fuel pressure regulator, new plugs, new wires, cap button, oil pressure sending unit, manifold temp sensor, air temp sensor... Have rounded up high pressure fuel pump that is still in tank along with original gas lines including rubber lines to fuel rail... New thermostat, gasket set for intake, all upper section of tpi, but I'm having difficulties with passenger side exhaust manifold. Seems to be milled completely flat... No place for a doughnut. Can anyone please help me? I've checked with the dealership with no results and several auto parts stores, also with no results. It seems to be a piece is missing. Thanks in advance!

Yes there is infact a piece missing. It is a cast piece about 1.5 inches long, flat on one side, flange on the other. You will need this to connect the Y to the manifold. I don't know where you could get one.
Re: NEED HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi . And thanks for the info!! Im sorry but dont have any parts other than the motor that im working on for my 83 step side truck . But will keep an eye open when i go back to the junk yard to see if i can find that part! i got the fuel tank out of a v6 camaro but did not look at the exhaust, but im not sure if that would help u at all? In all i got hooked on tpi thanks to all the posts on this site, and just had to have this set up for myself.
