Wrong Muffler
Wrong Muffler
This my be a silly question but Is It possible to put the wrong muffler on a car?
I went exhaust shopping today,I found a shop to do my exhaust the way I wanted It at the price I wanted. But now my car seems to have less power and not as much punch. It sounds killer though Its a flomaster 40 series with a single outlet 3inch in and out. I will post pics shortly after I find the guys car I got the idea so that i can give him credit. Any feedback will apreciated thanks Chris.

Re: Wrong Muffler
Probably not, almost no mufflers are vehicle specific.
Maybe it is installed backwards?
There might be an arrow pointing the direction that the exhaust is supposed to flow through it.
