my 86 iroc has a 305 tpi in it i dont think the exhaust is stock because the cat has a cutout on it. i am wondering what this tube is for that goes from the cat to what looks like part of the a.c.. where this tube is connected also has a port coming off and goes to my headers. i guess what i want to know is if i need all this junk to make my car run the engine is set up for a.c. but the car is not dont know why this wasnt taking off when the engine was put in but now im stuck with this junk. the tube to the cat broke off and the car runs fine and still has heat so can i just pull this useless mess of plastic and tubes off?

 

that is a stock or stock style exhuast. all those tubes are the emissions stuff. you can remove them if you dont have to take your car to get tested.
