Purple hornies or summit chambered Race mufflers for the Track?

Hi, Going to the track this weekend with the camaro. I have headman full length 1 5/8 headers going in to 3'' headman curved pipes then from there a H pipe. I dont know what muffler will put out more power for me. I have the 3in purple hornies with turndowns. Or the 3'' summit chambered mufflers Whats the best way to go you guys think?

Stop reviving every thread you find on them. Youtube is your friend for sounds.

Also if you have them in the shop, just put them on.

No one has yet to answer any questions; thats what these forums are for. And I have shorty headers as of now so either Id be sticking money into getting them to work or buying longtubes; cant just put them on. I know what they sound like on trucks and old muscle cars, find me a link of a thirdgen with them and Ill be satisfied.

From what I see paired with longtubes available for our cars with a Auto they will not work without modifying the crossmember and running Hooker 2210s. With Hedmans you will have to run S-Bends and if you are going that far then why not just do it the right way.

Also our cars don't have unique engines. If you have heard a stock 305 or 350 with these thats what a third gen will sound like.

Use common sense man.

I like the purple hornies have a different baffle that stands out unlike the thrush which has almost no baffle at all.
