Exhaust tips on a 1991 z28?

Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: stock 3.23
Exhaust tips on a 1991 z28?
hi, im new to the site and i have a 1991 z28 with a 5.7 350. it has all stock exhaust (dual cats with 3 inch down pipe to 80's series) and the exhaust tips the come stock with the car just point straight to the ground. i wanted to change them but everything is welded. like the pipes are welded to the muffler. is there anything that i can do to put on tips? Thanks a lot for your help

the muffler and tips are one complete piece and if you try to modify the tips you will probably snap it off at the muffler. If you are determined to see the tips out the back end of the car you might want to buy a cat back replacement system.
