leave it alone. Its illegal to remove it irregardless of if you have inspections or not.
If you feel the need to upgrade, you can get a good high flow cat that will keep the car legal and keep the exhaust from stinking

I bought my camaro a month ago and it didn't come with a cat but I am thinking about putting one on just to make it legal. I don't have emissions here in arizona but like you guys say its still illegal to take it off.
