Magnaflow Exhaust
Magnaflow Exhaust
Alright i have a magnaflow muffler on the bird right now. Its not true duals.
The car is not as loud as i would like it to be. In fact it is just a little louder than stock. I also have the original cat on it. Would that make it immensely quieter?
What are my options?

Which magnaflow did you use?Stock manifolds or headers?I`ve heard a cat does tone it done a little but all of the thirdgens I`ve owned didnt have cats when I bought them,so I wouldnt know.I have a flowmaster 80 on right now that I think is too loud.I just removed another flowmaster that was a larger muffler with 3"in and dual 3"outs with turn downs tucked up behind the bumper that was even louder. Some people said they liked it but it was too loud for me.I `m` going with a magnaflow next.

ha, mine was really quiet when i got it also. ALLLLL stock and i mean everything. so i was like wtf it sure i quiet. then i said hey, why is it so quiet man? (to the guy that worked at the muff shop) and hes like oh they tend to get nastier as you go along. this was true tho and i drove it more and more it got a little better and better and now even with the shitt 305 it sounds good man. i mean, i actually stood behind it during a rev and an actual drive off and i was REALLY impressed. so keep driving it and see what ya think. oh yea the guy also told me "if you dont like it man, come back and we can switch it out for a flow disaster for free"......i never went back......

My Magnaflow bullet muffler is quiet at cruise & part throttle, but sure wakes up at WOT!
Here's a link to my various videos of my exhaust....

This is my favorite video, shhowing the exhaust. The music was added after the video, but it gives you a good idea of the exhaust note.
