Header install

I'll be getting the 2055's off jegs in about week, I'm just clearing up everything so the install will go off without a hitch.

It may sound a bit noob, but I don't know, everything will bolt up right? from the headers to the y-pipe that comes with it? No welding required? And a cat will bolt to the end of the y-pipe correct?

Also, I'll lift up my car and look later today but does the y-pipe that comes with the 2055's follow the same path of the stock exhaust? I'm pretty sure mine goes off to the right and then connects to the stock cat, does that sound right? There won't be any clearance issues with the 2055 y-pipe correct? No oil pan or tranny issues?

Thanks guys

Yes, everything bolts up. The Y, however, doesn't have a flange, so you'll either have to purchase a slip-fit cat (Summit CTO-9118) or modify. Same path, no clearance issues.

Re: Header install

Thanks alot, but I only need a flange for the y-pipe-cat connection correct?

I was planning on buying a slip-fit cat anyways so no problems there.

Yessir! Im in the process of getting mine installed aswell. Everything will bolt up fine, get a 3"id cat and then a jegs lap-joint clamp, everything should be fine and dandy. Look down the exhaust forum a bit and look for my thread "Those with hooker 2055s come on in!" ALOT of info there.
