Clutch linkage with headers

Hey all i have an 82 Z28 that i'm putting a 350 with a T-10 in and i was wondering if long tube headers will fit with the mechanical clutch linkage. and if they will are there certain brands that fit better than others or do they all work pretty well

Re: Clutch linkage with headers

The only ones I know of that are supposed to work with the mechanical linkage on the '82's are Hooker 2210. I had to modify my linkage though when I put them on...

Re: Clutch linkage with headers

onebad82z thanks for the reply. i figured since it took a little while to get an answer that modification is what would be needed so i bought a set of shorty headers.

Re: Clutch linkage with headers

I am wondering though if I need plug wires with a straight boot or will the original style work? Also will i need shorty plugs?
