ok guys i was digging through my shed and found the muffler that i had on my 82 when i first got it and realized that the casing and qualitly looks how a magnaflow is. i looked inside and its pure straight through like a magnaflow!! however there are no markings on it at all. ill try to get some pictures of it later on but here is a sound clip of it on the car when it had a 2 1/4 i pipe with 2 1/4 cat hooker shortys and that muffler. let me know what yall think.

no has a clue as to what this muffler may be? i bought the car with it on it and it sat for 6yrs or so before i got it and the muffler was put on maybe 2-3yrs or more before that.

 

yes i do. as i drove down the street yesterday after reading your post i was to the right and rear of a car in front of me and i think i saw it.
the 4th gen has a transverse one hanging down in the rear that looks short like that one.
take a look at them.

Yes the 4thgens exhaust is the same setup at a 3rd gen im actually running a stock over the axle pipe and muffler and tails from a 02 ta on my 82. Well ive compaired this muffler to the magnaflow on my yukon and the pictures of the crossflow magnaflows on the web and this muffler looks to be designed and built the same way. It is also. Not rusted just rather dirty and doesnt have magnaflow stamped on it like the one i see now.

 

not a maggie...too rusty to be a stainless beauty by magnaflow...
