Alright guys this was acctually done to my sunfire, but i think i'll share it with everyone. Car was to quiet and rather tha spend damn near $700 on a new exhaust i just drilled 8 holes in the back of the stock muffler to give a bit better sound. Not to bad but it does have a bit of the tuner tone though. Oh well it was FREE.

Miles you know that is an illegal mod don't you? It is in Texas on all cars and on emission controled cars everywhere. Plus it is useless anyway. Just take the muffler off and put on a glass pack if noise is what you are after.

 

No i wasn't aware that it was illegal but its just a temp. fix and we don't have emissions testing here. I'm going to put a bullet muffler on soon. anyway.

And is it illegal because of the DB? I don't see how it can be illegal for emissions purposes other than one not being allowed to tamper with the muffler.

 

Guys its a rice burner trust me it ain't gonna sound good, not like a Z anyway. It makes a total of 145 horses.

 

Haha, that's only 30 HP less than my RS.
