how much better does a flowmaster exhaust help my '90 rs besides the fact that it sounds amazing. I know its a stupid question but I'm new at this

anything is better than the stock setup, however you will only notice marginal performance gains unless you change the stock manifolds,y, and cat setup. Thats where most of the restriction is.
