Are there no headers for me car?

ok ive looked all over the place and i can t find anything on this site or anywhere else. i have a 91 z28 with a 350. it has no y-pipe till after the dual cats. i cant find any type of header that will fit onto my car. what i would really want would be for a set of heades that bolt up to the exisiting exhaust system but i guess that doesnt exisist. i need help and info would be much appreited!

The Y-pipe bolts directly to the exhaust manifolds or headers. No after market headers will bolt to the OE Y pipe.

I don't think you understand what the Y-pipe is. It's not just the literal merge, but it's the whole piece in between your manifolds/headers to the flange after the cat(s)

Re: Are there no headers for me car?

ok so would i have to buy headers then change the dual cat set up into a single cat. i could buy headers then the standard ypipe to go with them and have it hook up to the exisiting 3 in pipe that runs to the rear of the car?
