header fitment question (yes i searched)

I have searched until im blue in the face, and read, read, read, and read some more. Sorry if this is redundant but I can not seem to find the reasoning as to why the

Flowtech 16102-FLT Headers and Y pipe are only listed to fit the 86+ thirdgen, My 2nd thirdgen is a 305CFI car and I am trying to keep it fairly close to stock and wandered upon a great condition set of these for a great price. thanks for your time!

flowtechs suck big time.

after that, do they have AIR provisions or no? If not the only thing that would/could prevent you from using them is the style off connection at the cat.

If they are emmissions headers, there could be other differences.

Personally, unless they were almost free, i would pass

Re: header fitment question (yes i searched)

Yeah they are almost free, I am using my 87 to mod the **** out of (i.e. BBC fuel cell etc) but the 83 is in such good condition i dont want to do much of anything to it, I will probably do a rotating assembly new valve train and a little bit bigger cam etc. But these i am getting for pretty close to free, they are non-emissions headers and i figured portmatching them and ceramic coating them would be a good way to get a show look remove the emissions equip and not spend an arm and a leg
