My is in desperate need of an exhaust system, as all I have from the cat back is a pipe out the back of the car. I have a Gale Banks 3 inch exhaust. The 3 in. cat back pipe bolts directly to the cat so I am thinking the cat must be aftermarket and 3 inches as well? This sound right? Anyways, I am looking to get the magnflow 16829. Anyone know if this would bolt right up to a 3 inch cat? And i need some input on the hanger situation with this exhaust system. What are the problems and solutions encountered with the hangers?

I had to get an adapter fabbed up at an exhaust shop as nothing in the
kit seemed to mate up with the outlet of the dual-cat pipe. sorry, I'm
not sure what size the factory pipe was at that point.

 

Just wanted to let you guys know I went ahead and ordered the magnaflow 16829 cat back exhaust system for my 88 IROC because I managed to get it from banditexhaust.com for less than $330 shipped!
