i need you opinion
ok i just got my replacment muffler today and i tried removing my pipes that are RUSTED THE HELL OUT OF and well i finally got 1 of the pipes off but only by twisting it off
and the rest still wont come and should i just buy completly new pipes because mine are completly dented up in some spots and how much is it to get completly new pipes just stock size unless the muffler would fit 3inch pipes so how much is it to do that?
i would install it myself with the help of a camaro pro and can i buy all of the pipes online or do i have to go to an exhuast shop for it to get made?
say if i got all new pipes, hi flow cat, and another performance exhuast is that a full exhuast system. thx

Return the muffler and get a complete cat-back for your car.
Full exhaust would start at the head ports and end at the rear bumper.

Re: i need you opinion
Like you said, I would suggest working from the rear to the front, replacing parts. I recently had to replace my exhaust from the Cat back. I went on up to Napa and they had all of the correct piping for my car. All the right bend and what not to fit the stock finish. If you are wanting a custom install then you will run into alot of problems due to the car being low and the floor so close to the frame. I purchased a new muffler, cut a huge hole inside for better sound, new piping from the cat back for about 115$. If it is that bad and you really need to replace from the heads back i would have a professional do it if you are not experienced with doing exhaust systems, you could do it, but it will take time.

Re: i need you opinion
with my car, first there was a hole between the tailpipes and the muffle and i think the muffler itself was falling apart.
i cut it off with the intent on fixing everything in the near future (it did sound sick though
)
then a few weeks later, a section between the y-pipe and cat broke, i then had only a y pipe.
my plan for my exhaust bumped up from next spring to now.
if you're going to do something might as well do it all at once
