4th gen y pipe.
Will a 4th gen y pipe fit a set of longtubes for a non L-series motor? For example if i were to buy hooker super comps and then a 4th gen y pipe for those same headers will it fit?
Im planning on running a 4th gen exhaust as well.
Thanks,
Chas

Re: 4th gen y pipe.
i doubt it since the exit locations are surely gonna be different. They make y pipes for our cars with those headers though. At least mufflex did

Re: 4th gen y pipe.
There's no way to make it fit without completely cutting it apart and welding it back together.
I thought about going the Mufflex route but decided to piece it together myself and then have a shop weld it up. Since my car is a T56 its easier to route the exhaust and all I should need are 2 sets of Hedman s extensions and a flowmaster merge collector. It damn near completely fits up as is so I am hoping it wont take much in the way of cutting and welding together to fit.
