Question about ypipe for hooker 2210's

Question about ypipe for hooker 2210's
Can I use lt1 long tube ypipe for a thirdgen with long tubes? I can get lt1 ypipes pretty cheap other wise I will have to run some piping to my mufflers then turn downs and call it a day.
I mean basically the lt1 and thirdgen under carriage is the same so the lt1 y should clear the tranny and all just fine right, maybe a littel modding to make it fit the reducers but they should basically be in the same positions right?
