can i drill/tap them out?? will there be enough room? or should i not even waste the effort here and pull the head off?? thanks,
matt

Re: broken bolts in head
try getting a easy out in there (although they usually end up busting aswell and pissin me off lol)
If it don't work take the head off and bring it to a machine shop, they get busted studs out for around $10.

Re: broken bolts in head
If you can get close enough drill a hole as deep as possible(without going into the head) you want to get a hole all the way thru the bolt and spray some brakefree into the hole and set overnite. This lets the brakefree penetrate completely and bolt will come out easy, I have done this many times.
Re: broken bolts in head
the studs are flush with the head, 4 out of 6 are broken off this way.... it sucks. i have the drivers side header on and ready to roll and i just have to get some time off work to get it done...
