Re: First vid on youtube!

That sounded pretty good to me. When you drive by the camera it reminds me of the sound of the 1958 Plymouth Fury from the movie "Christine". Has a real old school muscle sound to it.

Are you having your 305 rebuilt, or swapping to something else?

Re: First vid on youtube!

im building a 388 for it now but its a slow process cuz of money. boo. anyways!

i figured out why it was running so crappy! the engine is still fine! running solid for a 25 year old car with 400k miles on it! it was the MAF sensor!

So now im going to replace that here in about 3 weeks and then i am going to the exact same place to re-shoot the video how it should have gone!

i had to cut the exhaust tips off to get my tank out when i replaced the fuel pump, so the exhaust sounds WAY better! keep an eye out, i will add the new video as soon as im done with the fix.

Re: First vid on youtube!

Keep us posted! Glad it seems like a simple fix. Are you still going to build the 388?

I half expected someone to walk by and steal your camera... haha Maybe have a friend there next time and do it as a joke?

Re: First vid on youtube!

ya im still building the 388. just takes time and dinero!

it is an easy fix but i might have to wait for the part because i dont have the money for it right now.

as for someone stealing it? well this road is a nice, flat, straight paved road way out away from the public and johnny law. perfect for messin around with no one else around.

Re: First vid on youtube!

Well guys, I finally fixed the problem! It was my MAF. So now that I got the new one in, I'm going out to the same spot this saturday to re-shoot this vid the way it is supposed to look and sound! Keep an eye out!
