How do i run true duals on my 84 Z28. its only got enough room for one muffler but iT was made with two on the end of a T PIPE... BUT I HAD THE SHOP JUST USE ONE of my flowmasters and now it sounds great but i have one flowmaster left over...

 

#1.....I suspect that maybe what you had was the not-very-commonly-seen (because it is so old & commonly replaced), dual muffler STOCK exhaust from the early 3rd gens. Pic?

#2, FYI.....Unless your "true dual" exhaust follows the stock route (both pipes on the passenger side) a street car won't be Federally legal, regardless of state inspections or emissions testing (or lack of).

 

i dont care about inspections....theres no room for the second muffler. i post pics soon.

 

you're better off using the stock Fbody exhaust setup, unless you have mad power that requires dual exhaust...
