V6 exhaust

Im looking for a nice sounding exhaust for my 3.1. I currently have a 3" cat back with magnaflow muffler which sounds ok, but it has more of a purr and im looking for just a little more growl. Any suggestions!?

Re: V6 exhaust

I think with anything else your car would sound like a raspy ol rice machine.

Re: V6 exhaust

I used to have a flowmaster 40 series on my 3.0 02 eclipse and it gave it a nice rumble. I was not looking for a rice sound either.

Re: V6 exhaust

im not quite sure why, but i kinda like the sound of the autozone replacement muffler that is on my car with no cat...its kinda raspy, has a real decent idle tone and kinda sounds like the cars on the older grand theft auto games LOL...but yea i actualy like the sound of it considering its a 6 popper..im used to 8

Re: V6 exhaust

If I had a V6 like yours, I would go with a Hooker Aerochamber muffler.

I have Aerochambers (true duals) on my V6 and they sound great.
