Hedman 17534 Y pipe
I have done a search and can't find an answer. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HED-17534/ Hedman 17534 Y pipe is for the 99 to 02 LS1 but will that work on a 3rd gen? Has anyone done this? I will buy the Hedman 68460 headers at the same time. I have the Hedman shorty's(68470) and the matching Y pipe(17478) now but the Y pipe is way to restrictive. Any Ideas? Thanks.

17534 looks like it is for long tube headers. If it is and will fit I am going to be very interested.

Re: Hedman 17534 Y pipe
Those are for a LS1 so they won't work for my application but the 68460 will and they have the same flange as the Y pipe so I know that will work. I was just wondering if anyone else has done this before. The clearance issues are what I'm thinking about.

I can't believe no one has done this. It looks like a no brain-er and probably cheaper then a custom. I guess I'll be a pioneer sometime this summer.Mark.
