4th gen exhaust on 3rd gen

I have read that the 4th gen exhaust systems cannot simply be removed from the box and bolted up to a 3rd gen, so I was hoping someone might have a picture of the pipe that made, or had made to bolt the 4th gen system to a 3rd gen.

The exhaust system that I would like to purchase isn't available for 3rd gens, so I would like to see if making the 4th gen exhaust system work is worth my money/time. I have searched, but none of the threads I found had any pictures.

The hangers are your biggest hurdle. In other words? Not a big deal.

Re: 4th gen exhaust on 3rd gen

i put a slp loudmouth from a 93-97 and it fit fine on my 87 Camaro, i had spare hangers i saved from a few thirdgens i parted out, the ones that worked came out of a 86 ta. the only thing i noticed is that the tips stick out a little too far but not to bad. Then it took a 45 and a straight section to join it to the y pipe.
