t56 long tube AND lowered help!

i desperate about finding a way to do this, im thinking something like hooker 2022s y into a 4 inch then stock routing. Here is theissue, i really want long tubes, but want a lowered car. So i really need to watch the ground clearance. Im doing a t56 swap so that limits me on crossmembers sure can get a double hump but then i have to use a transmission mounted torque arm. I really wish spohn, umi, bmr would come out to help!

Going through that now. 383, Dougs LT's, t-56 and a Skukte x-member. Tried to go with a UMI adj but it was too much of a PIA. Ended up putting in a Jegster adj body mounted TA. Read up on alot of guys using them in their LS cars. They seemed to be happy with them and no more busted tailshaft housings.BTW, install was pretty easy. Car is lowered too.

In cases like this you have to use your fab skills or get someone to do it for you. I am running a T56, headman long tubes with 3" true duals over the axle. A friend of mine originally had the set-up on his 3rdgen. He custom fab'd the cross member himself and used 3" steel tubing as part of the cross member so it would create a pocket to tuck the exhaust up close to the car. I have also lowered the car a little over an inch. Yes it will drag but not like you expect, I have friends of mine with TD set-ups that drag way before mine will. It doesn't drag like you would think or else I wouldn't have it.

If you want to go lower, just get shorties. I did the t56 swap and just got the crossmember made for long tubes. Ive got "okay" clearance with my hooker long tubes, but if it was any lower it would be hell to drive it anywhere.
