true duals no cats!

Just thought id get your thoughts on my setup. Its on a 85 z28, 305, auto, dynomax headers, v-force mufflers. Non emisson, non computer controlled. Stock internals. I have one muffer where the cat is suppose to be and the other where the stock one was. i will post pics when i can and try to get a video.

Re: true duals no cats!

that settup is WAY less than optimal, you would be much better off with a single exhaust, than a dual that unbalanced.

Well switching to duals did shave .4 sec on my quarter mile time, and i gained 17 hp over the previous setup i had, which was, the same headers into a 3 inch y pipe with a magnaflow muffler. So ill just let the numbers speak for themselves.

+1 for true duals over any y-pipe or x-pipe.

I just built up true duals with pypes m80s mufflers for my 357 with a mild cam and I can now chirp second which I couldn't with a single y-pipe exhaust.

Re: true duals no cats!

I am a HUGE fan of true duals. Seeing Y pipes on sports cars really pisses me off! It just dont seem right to me
