Re: Want NEW long tubes for $136.37 shipped to your door?!

obviously. My point is that I believe they come as a 3 bolt ball and socket design with reducers, and not a 3 bolt flange/gasket. What size I'm not sure. I'll probably pick up these too:

I found a company that'll coat these headers for $160 a pair including return shipping. Yes I know, you get what you pay for, but the job quality also largely depends on how well you prepped the headers. smooth rough edges, test fit on the car so you won't have to dent the coating later..............over all I'm confidant that it'll go well. I'll have plenty of pics in a few weeks.

A simple search to Hedman headers shows these will come with Ball and Socket flanges, and are designed for a straight back exit.

PDF for install
Picture from Hedman themselves.

Re: Want NEW long tubes for $136.37 shipped to your door?!

Got the headers today, and all seems well. There's plenty of prep I'll be doing to these before I send them out to get coated.

Question - should I grind down the surface that contacts the head/header gasket so that it's flush? Right now it's not flush because the welds weren't ground down all the way. One of the pics shows it well.

You want the bead to be higher than the flange so you get a good seal from squeezing the gasket between the header and head around the port.
