You shouldn't need any other parts to install it. Though your existing cat/exhaust might need to be modified to fit onto the converter since it uses a slip fit and clamp to connect to the exhaust.

I suggest a Band Clamp over a U clamp. Why the band clamp? Because it seals way better without crushing the pipes.

The headers should have come with gaskets and hardware. Have fun installing them, the #8 primary is particularly fun with an A/C car. I use a mix hex cap head bolts and normal hex head bolts to seal my headers.

I have some install pics here. http://gallery.me.com/thirdgen89gta#...lack&view=grid

I would advise against using the gaskets that come with the 2055's. My gasket set lasted about 1,000 miles.

Re: Hooker 2055's help

I totally agree about the gaskets that came with my 2055's. Mine didn't last two weeks. Sucked pulling them off again to change gaskets so quickly. I went with the dead soft Percy's aluminum gaskets the second time. They seal great and are reusable.

Do yourself a favor and save a lot of time and work and upgrade to a good gasket like the Percy's. They are only about $35. Money well spent.

I had 2 sets of Percy's dead soft aluminum gaskets literally melt through. I'd rather stay with the felpro gaskets. They last, I've reused them for several plug changes too. And they seal perfect. Not saying they'll last forever, they won't. But for the price, they are great.

Re: Hooker 2055's help

The whole ordeal is a complete PITA, especially when working alone.

Your hands will be scratched up for about a week after you're done, have fun washing the grime off when you get home, the soap getting in your cuts really hurts.

For me the removal of the old manifolds was the hard part. Those stupid little metal tabs that go around the manifold bolts conveniently make it impossible to fit a socket or an open/box end wrench around the damn bolt, so you have to spend about 2 hours collectively hammering away the stupid metal tabs in order to get to the bolts.

Just be prepared to swear a lot and throw things.
