Ok im a little new to this whole F-body thing, I finally go my car painted and all and what i want to do last is add some chrome tips to my exhaust, I have a 86 Trans am 305tpi, is there any specific measurments that i need to be looking for are does it matter, because there is a guy selling a pair on craigslist for 40 dollars, inlet 2 1/2 in, Length 17 1/2 in, and outlet 3 1/2 in, would this fit my car, i just wanted know before i purchased them for the guy..... could someone give me a little info on what exactly i should be looking at when buying chrome tips..

Normally it comes with the exhaust system. Most people will go buy a catback system with chrome tips on it.

You can still put chrome tips on the exhasut you have, but it depends on the diameter of your exhaust pipes, the angle of the pipes, etc.
