I'm about to redo my stock exhaust. I've already bought the headers online, just wondering if I should go Y-pipe to 3" exhaust or go dual exhaust? Some people have been telling me dual 2.5" exhaust would give more power but less torque? I plan to build my 305 a bit, LT1 cam and springs with 350 Vortec heads and intake...would the Y-pipe be a limitation later?

 

i would personaly go for a catback other then tru duals. i doubt true duals will really give you much more hp at all, and you torque would go down the drain.
