I am looking for a little help ordering some custom bbc headers. Looking for those that have done the same... where is alky Iroc???

anyways, i think i am going to have them be 2-1/4 with 4" collectors. For clearance sake, should i get slip on or a bolt on flange? Or should i get them with no collectors and get one later should i decide to get primary tube extensions?

What would cones in the collectors be for?
Would EVAC fittings be useful? or are they only useful when running open headers?

EVAC is only for open headers. The best bet would be to just pay a local shop to build a one off set for your car. Call chassis shops in the area and get price quotes. We always run slip on collectors and a few tubes may be installed in various order by themselves with slip joints.

 

the price quote i got from ed quay was about $750. i think that is pretty reasonable for custom headers of that size.
