Re: glasspack
my friends running a dual 2 1/4 custom system with glasspacks. The glasspacks are side by side, staggered about 5 inches and located where the cats go. Enough ground clearance and i can hear him about 4 blocks away cruising silently. If you want loud, ubnoxiously loud, glasspacks are the way to go.

Re: glasspack
I agree with LS4GXP Glasspacks are terribly loud. I am running blackjack headers and hollywood glasspacks on my '82 T/A and I worry about tickets everytime I take it out. Its not too awful bad at an idle in gear... say about 500 to 900 RPM, but during acceleration its crazy. I like the noise, so to me its not a bad thing, but it might be for you. They make header kits that are compatible with the air injection system and oxygen sensor, free flowing exhaust is proven to add horsepower. Those are some good points to it. All depends on what you are looking to accomplish.
