My Flowmaster muffler...?

I got a flowmaster 80 series on my camaro and sometimes when I hit the gas everything goes god and well but for a second all of a sudden I feel like my engine does like this blowing sound and I loose power, I think its because of air going back into the tips of the exhaust correct me if I am wrong but that's what I think it is, please help.

Is your power loose (I'm not familiar with the term) or are you losing power?

No, a muffler would not cause the engine to work one moment and not the next.

it wont cause loss of power unless the guts of the muffler are collapsed. i really doubt this is the issue. post in the v6 section for advise. try explaining the problem a little better.

Re: My Flowmaster muffler...?

I bet you have a Mass Air Flow problem. Deffinately not a muffler problem.
