Alright im looking to get a new exhaust for my 85' z28. Its a stock 305. I have no clue what to look for when it comes to this department. Im not looking for something thats crazy loud, but i want something that lets people know im there. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated!

As JamesC suggested. However, for my 305, before I did my engine swap I did the hooker 2055's followed by a custom 3" catback to a hooker aerochamber muffler. It's quieter during normal driving but really bellows when you get on it. I love it alot, especially after having a flowmaster on it. I personally don't like the flowmasters because to me they "drone" really bad during highway driving.
