Is this where I want my O2 sensor?
The white dot is where I was thinking...is this a good place? This is the top side of the header btw.

I'd move that white dot up in your pic about an inch. You have it pretty close to the flange, and you have it right in front of a flange bolt hole. You would have issues replacing the O2 and/or getting to the flange bolts.
