Exhaust overhaul

I purchased an 82 s/e a ways back and now that I finished fixing it up. I'm looking to do some upgrading.

I already removed the A.I.R. system but I'm wondering if I'm able to delete any other of the emissions controls that are taking up space in my engine compartment. I'm also wondering if these headers will fit in my engine compartment. http://www.jegs.com/i/Flowtech/387/11114/10002/-1 and if they will work with this exhaust kit http://www.jegs.com/i/Dynomax/289/89009/10002/-1

Re: Exhaust overhaul

if you have emisssions then i think it would be a good idea to keep it. if, like me, you do not, you can take it all out. headers should fit but i doubt that exhaust will "bolt on" without adding a few additional bends and such
