Hooker 2055 with flowmaster 80 series

I have the 3 inch flowmaster american thunder cat back on my 85 firebird 305 v8 carbed. I was wondering if anyone has this catback with the hooker 2055 shorty headers and y pipe. Will I notice more power and alot louder exhaust tone with the hooker headers and y pipe?

The headers won't make much difference in the sound. Are you going to put in a 3" cat while you're at it?

You will probably notice a small increase in power.

I will most likely run a 3 inch pipe in place of the cat. Do you know if the outlet on the 2055 y pipe is a 3 inch?

Yes, its 3". I have them on my GTA.

They work well and keep ground clearance. Better y-pipe, but the 1 5/8" primaries sucks.
