Flowtech shorties - right one hitting the frame, what to do?
After changing engine mounts, my right header sits too close to the frame and hits it almost every time after revving. There was plenty of room before changing the mounts, it's almost unbelievable that new mounts could change the situation so much.
What would be the best cure considering that I could not afford new set of headers at the moment?

Dent the tube in the spot it hits, so that it clears. Many many cars have to have dents put into specific places on the headers for clearance, and won't harm anything.

Well, the problem is that it's not the pipe part that hits the frame - it's the flange. I don't think that I could dent the flange and I'm not sure that I could grind any material down from there too.

my edelbrocks kind of did that too. Unlooses the flange bolts and turn it some. Well mine turn...While prying it back, tighten up.
