Exhaust help!
I just bought a thrush welded muffler for my 91 rs. The old mufflers clamps were on so tight that it crimped on to the tail pipes and intermediate pipes, so we basically had to wreck it to get it off, the new muffler works with 2.5 inch pipes, so the tail pipes fit how they should, my problem is that for some reason the person who owned the car before me put bigger tail pipes on but the intermediate pipe is still 2.25 inches, which won't fit into the muffler. I've looked everywhere and I can't find a muffler with a 2.25 in let, and 2.5 outlets, and no one has the right adapters that would fix the problem. So what so I do?

Re: Exhaust help!
No, the pipe is I.D., which means the adapter needs to be O.D., which I can't find, and I used and electronic pipe measuring tool to measure them

Re: Exhaust help!
I'd be really surprised if the pipe actually had a 2 1/4" ID.
Whatever, though... Walker 41918 if it is.

I was surprised too, I wasn't the first one to measure it but when they told me it was I.D. I measured it myself cuz I thought it was wrong, but it wasn't
