this winter im putting the camaro in the garage for some maintenance and gona stick some hedman shortys on that i got but debating on buying the hedman y or building my own from all 3in mandrel bends i have laying around left over from the trans am exhaust build. also wondering if i should put the 02 bung in the header or right in the y pipe where it meets the header collector. if anyone has built there own y for these headers id love to see it im mainly havign a hard time on how ill build the merge but it may be easier to visualize once i have it in the air.

 

Put the o2 bung in its stock location right before the collector.I would build my own use a y connector from flowmaster to make it to a single or run true dual but i think thats over kill on stock L98.

 

the car has a lb9 not an l98 but i do agree true duals would be an overkill regardless. ive got a magnaflow catback and 3in magnaflow cat on this car already that was put on last month so i plan to mate up to it.
