Coating painted Hooker 2210's. Ideas?
My painted Hooker super comp 2210's are starting to rust pretty good. Is there a place that coats headers at a reasonable price? Maybe somewhere local? (not sure where to look for a local place that would do this) Would they sandblast them and dip the headers? Or blast them and spray the coating on. I'm unsure of the procedure of this.

Look in the phone book for coatings and ask local speed shops where they send headers to for coating
Some places ONLY coat new headers because cleaning the old paint/rust is a pain. Metal has to be perfectly clean for ceramic to adhere properly

Thanks for the reply. I really don't want to buy another set of these. Quite a bit of money. When I bought them years ago I was right out of high school and couldn't afford the coated version. I will look around locally though.
