None. You could do it with stock manifolds but not headers.See the stickies at the top of the exhaust forum.

It can be done but not with long tubes. I did it with SLP's with no problem. It's the best way to do it because you can get the bolt tight. Do it with the intake on as well. Oh yea, I also did with the hood on, the radiator and fans still in place.

I've always laid my SLP drivers side header in place before dropping in the engines. I would think the passenger side wouldn't be to bad but I've always had clearance issues with the drivers side header and steering column. How did you clear the column with the headers on the engine?
I've also put a few engines in with the intake on with no issues.

I have edelbrock shorties and passenger side comes out/in like a dream. Drivers side requires a bit of finesse to get in but its doable when I put my new motor in the car I'll probably place the exhaust in or bolt it on the drivers side.

Well first I do have poly motor mounts. The engine sits up 1/4in higher. Even though the motor mounts looks the same, there not the same. If you swap them to the opposite side, it moves the engine over about 1/4 inches. That's why my SLP's clears the steering shaft 1/4 inches.
