exhaust dump at axle question

Car: 1986/90 camaro
Engine: 350 tpi
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 gears. POSI
exhaust dump at axle question
i have a 350 tpi with a 700r4 trans and i want to run long tube headers and right after the headers put i was thinking a slp loud mouth shotgun muffler, one on end of each header and then dump them. has anyone done this? and what type of long tube headers would be the best fit with no fitting issues. feedback greatly appreciated.?
