Exhaust problem

So im a US Army soldier that has been stationed in Germany, and i couldnt leave my Trans-Am behind, but Germans hate loud cars. I have an 89 Trans-Am that has all sorts of holes and problems with my exhaust system so i need to replace it being its too loud... I don't want a quite little car, but highest is about 90 decibals to pass inspection, so i need help what size pipes, and how I should build my exhaust so that its around 90 decibals, but not super quite cause i like it loud. It has a bored over 305, any suggestions?

Re: Exhaust problem

I liked the hooker catback when I had my 89 RS with the 305; very respectable at idle and cruising but nice growl when the foot was in it. Inexpensive, but wasn't stainless, so it can rust out.

How much did it run you to export to germany? When I was in japan I wanted to export my camaro to japan, but it was around 15,000$ to ship. But for a car like a skyline from japan to usa ran around 8k$
