Hooker 2055 headers, ceramic coated, 3" catback with 3" high performance cat. Hooker aerochamber muffler. Total cost, somewhere north of $700.00 before you count labor to install (Unless you do it yourself).
To start, the headers because they (and the Cat itself) are the most expensive part. Ceramic coated (it's better) they'll run over $500 by themselves. Non ceramic coated are about $350. You can install these yourself in about 3 hours. Have a shop fab up the connection between the Y-pipe and cat and add the rest as money becomes available. This alone will free up 10-30hp in your motor. I hope this helps you decide how you want to go about it.
