Quick question regarding Hooker cat-back
Hey guys,
Looking at purchasing a Hooker super comp cat-back exhaust system. Car is a 1991, originally a 305 but I am dropping in a 350. I have two options, 16820 and 16823. The 23 is for TPI cars whereas the 20 is for non-TPI.
I would go with the 23 since my car is TPI, but a local shop has a 20 sitting right there, available immediately. If I were to order the 16823, it would take weeks to come in.
My Y-pipe will be Hedman: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HE...s/?prefilter=0
My car is originally dual cat, but I was just going to get a straight pipe fabricated to span the gap between the Y and the intermediate.
Which brings me to my question, will the 16820 work just as well as the 16823 since I'm not using it in a direct fit application with my cat?
Please let me know ASAP, I have to pick it up tomorrow if I take it!
